This is a common practice: the customer enters the store with a receipt in hand, he goes in the store and gather the same product from the shelf and comes to the service counter with the product for a full refund.

To prevent

  • Make sure the return counter, is as close as possible to the entrance.
  • Review the video sequence of the customer’s arrival, to see if he had the product in hand.
  • Make sure that a garbage can is available, as close as possible after the payment for customers who do not keep the receipt. This way, it will not become available to fraudsters.
