The cashier facilitates a transaction with cloned credit card or counterfeit money (few or no checks).

To prevent :

• Limit sales of "cash value" products to a single sales item. Gift cards are particularly targeted during this type of transaction.
• Have a proven procedure for checking credit cards.
• Check video footage to ensure that procedures are followed during periods when supervisory staff are absent.
• When such fraud is discovered, analyze more closely the video footage related to the employee involved.
